Festival in Inomata (Misato Town) |

place on August 15. Fireworks are continuously set off in the sky
from the peak of Mount Dozen, and 108 earth mounds built along the
mountain are lightened with torches on top. The festival started as
a service for the departed soul of Koheiroku Inomata, a general of
Inomata-tou (one of the seven groups of powerful families of Musashi
Country in the Middle Ages ). Designated as an important national
