Ryusei Rocket Festival (Yoshida Town) This is an unusual festival at Muku Jinja Shrine, which takes place every year on October 10. A 20 meter-long handmade rocket is launched into the autumn sky with an explosive sound, and it reaches an altitude of 200 to 300 meters.
